I was having a meditation/nap with my two year old one day when the idea for Animal Spaceship to Mars, a children's picture book about a young boy who draws himself a space adventure to Mars, came to me. I had no art skills to speak of but went for it. Using the age old medium of crayon; the boy took me on an adventure. The story for little children is written and drawn from the perspective of the little child. The lead character's likeness and essence inspired by own little child Joseph. My two toddlers love it and I hope other children of all ages will love it too.
